Storybook town of Chenini, Tunisia

Adobe among the mountains in dry arid lands, herding cattle and trading on camels, homes and granary carved around 12th Century in the wind hollows of yellow sandstone mountain, steep climbs to carry meger water, built by the Amazighs across north Africa on the upper lip of Sahara, is one of those towns in south eastern Tunisia – Chenini.
